Artis Peritia association is an organisation that values craftsmanship as an “art of common sense”. It was created in 2007 and is patronised by Stefan Bortnowski, architect.
OUR VISION
We believe in the importance of keeping alive a healthy network of craftsmen in Romania. They are as important as the building they restore if not more.
WHAT WE DO
All the activities we organise are oriented towards the promotion of traditional crafts and their transmission to the younger generation.
OUR TEAM
We are a dedicated and motivated team of architects, carpenters, blacksmith and many other crafts.
IT'S HANDS-ON
At Artis Peritia, we believe in hands-on learning. You don't learn construction in a book: it's first about being on the construction site and experimenting each material with your own hands.
Building properly is about managing tolerance between different materials. This type of knowledge is one you acquire on the spot, through practice.
